Translation: this is three jobs and we’re paying for one. The person who held this role before burned out in eighteen months. We didn’t replace them — we rewrote the job description to include everything they did plus everything we wished they did.
A job description that lists fifteen requirements is not looking for a person. It’s describing a fantasy. The person they hire will do the three things that are actually urgent and the other twelve will join the shared Google Doc of things that never get done.
